WHAT IS THE COVID-19 FLOWFLEX ANTIGEN RAPID TEST?
This Flowflex COVID-19 Test is a rapid test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigens in anterior nasal swab specimens to check if you are infectious. It’s for people who have symptoms as well as those with no symptoms. However you should follow national guidelines to check what type of test is right for you.
The test is designed to be taken at home with results given within 30 minutes of completion and are used to detect moderate to high viral loads. Patients will have moderate to high viral loads about 3 days before symptoms start until between 7 and 10 days after symptoms start. In this window lateral flow tests are very effective.
