WHAT IS CALPOL INFANT SUSPENSION?
Calpol infant suspension 120mg/5ml contains paracetamol which can be used in babies from 2 months on wards to treat fever and pain.
It starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes and is gentle on delicate tummies.
Calpol infant is used to relieve pain and/or bring down fever in many conditions including post-immunisation fever, teething, headache, cold and flu, earache and other aches and pains.
It is available as a strawberry flavoured, sugar free liquid.
HOW DO YOU TAKE CALPOL INFANT SUSPENSION?
Check the tables in the patient information leaflet to see how much medicine to use.
Always use the syringe supplied within the pack.
Shake the bottle for 10 seconds before use.
Do not give more medicine than the label states.
Do not give anything else containing paracetamol whilst giving this medicine.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
