Dioralyte works by replacing fluids and salts lost from your body when you suffer from diarrhoea

The powder contains glucose and salts and is mixed with water before taking.

    HOW DO YOU TAKE DIORALYTE?

Dioralyte must be mixed with water before taking and needs to be prepared just before the medicine is due to be taken.

Please read the patient information leaflet provided with the treatment for instructions on how to prepare the drink.

Adults (including elderly) – take 1 or 2 sachets after each stool.

For babies up to 2 years old – this medicine should only be given under the guidance of a doctor.

If you are also suffering from vomiting, take the medicine in small and frequent sips.
