Germoloids Ointment

Product Information

• Germoloids Ointment works to provide fast and effective relief from internal and external piles (haemorrhoids) and anal itching. It has a triple action and works to shrink piles, sooth itching and relief pain and discomfort.
• Germoloids Ointment contains the active ingredients Zinc Oxide (6.6%) and Lidocaine Hydrochloride (0.7%), which is a local anaesthetic.
  

How to Use

For adults and children aged 12 years and over

• Apply at least twice a day with a minimum of three to four hours between applications. Further applications can be made at any time of day and are particularly recommended after a bowel movement (after passing stools). Do not use more than four times in any 24-hour period.

For external piles and anal itching

• Apply directly to the affected area.

For internal piles

• Gently insert applicator into the anal opening and expel a small amount of the ointment by squeezing the tube gently.
• If symptoms persist then you should consult your doctor.
• Ensure you wash your hands thoroughly before and after use of this ointment. Germoloids Ointment is not recommended for children under 12 years.
• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding you may use this product, but, as with all medicines at this time you should discuss it with your doctor first.
