    Canesten 500mg Soft Gel Pessary is a highly effective anti-fungal medication available as a capsule that can be inserted directly into the vagina for the treatment of thrush (yeast infection) caused by Candida Albicans. Canesten Soft Gel Pessary contains the active anti-fungal ingredient clotrimazole 500mg.

    HOW EFFECTIVE IS CANESTEN 500MG SOFT GEL PESSARY IN TREATING VAGINAL THRUSH?

    Canesten 500mg Soft Gel Pessary is a highly effective in treating symptoms of vaginal thrush such as vaginal discharge and burning, itching or soreness of the vagina and surrounding areas. Women will normally start to see an improvement in their symptoms within a few days of taking treatment and the infection normally completely resolves in a week or so.

    If symptoms of thrush do not resolve within 7 days of taking treatment women should see their GP.

    HOW DO YOU TAKE CANESTEN 500MG SOFT GEL PESSARY TO TREAT VAGINAL THRUSH?

    Canesten 500mg Soft Gel Pessary is used as a single dose for the treatment of vaginal thrush. Therefore you only need to insert one pessary (vaginal capsule) into the vagina at night to treat the infection.     WHAT ARE THE CAUTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USING CANESTEN 500MG SOFT GEL PESSARY?

    Although Canesten 500mg Soft Gel Pessary is a commonly used medication in the UK, it may not be suitable to use for everyone. Canesten 500mg Soft Gel Pessary should not be used by people suffering with certain conditions or those using certain medications.
